About this product Synopsis Jennie and chad face love, adventure, and a lot more danger than they bargained for in this heart wrenching story of second chances. Jennie Evans' heart broke when she lost her high school sweetheart and husband just after college graduation and she has no interest in trying to heal it. She's built a good life with friends she loves and a job she can finally feel proud of. Chad Thompson couldn't be more different than Jennie.

He wants love. He wants the whole deal: marriage, children, and forever with the woman he loves. It's just too bad that the woman he loves can't give her heart to him. When Jennie and Chad's friends scheme to bring them together, she lands in trouble and turns to the only man who's ever made her forget her husband, the one man she wants to avoid.

Chad knows he can keep Jennie safe, but can he protect his heart in the process? Negotiation Tactics is book three of the Sutton Capital Series, but it can be read as a stand-alone book. Show More Show Less. Until she asks him to. And, when that happens, their world is turned upside down. Unfortunately, Chad has to accept the fact that his heart is likely to be crushed in the process and nothing will ever be the same again. Chad suppressed a grin as he watched Jennie. Chad stood on one side of a volleyball net and Jennie stood on the other.

Chad loved to see her fiery eyes sparkle as she fisted small hands on her hips and lit into him. She barely reached his chest, but she should get points for trying. Jennie tossed her head, flinging her strawberry-blond curls out behind her and kept right on going. Chad loved this side of Jennie. She was bold and brash and confident. She was feisty and fun loving and nothing seemed to frighten her. Jennie taunted and teased Chad at every turn, almost as if she were two or three feet taller than him. Chad knew why she did it. They both felt the wild attraction that sizzled between them and they both worked hard to control it.

So Jennie seemed to deal with things by throwing her saucy, cheeky attitude at him all the time. It was almost as if she tried to keep their interactions superficial, never going deeper than the surface. Hi there! Thank you for having me today. A little about me, huh? Well, I live in Austin, Texas with my husband, two kids, three dogs and a cat. These two characters appeared in the previous books and I just knew they needed their own story.

Please share your setting for Negotiation Tactics. Have you ever lived or visited there? If so, what did you like most? This book takes place in a few locations. The characters live in Connecticut, where I lived for several years. I actually hit three of my favorite locations all in one book! Last year. Pretty soon, I wanted to try writing one.

I published the first book in this series, Legal Ease, in April of this year, I think. She combines humor with drama and suspense and hot romance. What could be better? I really spend all of the free time I have right now writing.
